Currently, the membership is drawn widely across the U.K. We are a group of like-minded individuals from many different walks of life including those with serving and ex-serving backgrounds. We meet at a variety of events across the country, and also militaria fairs where we support each other in searching for items useful for our portrayals.
Group members are in constant contact, sharing ideas and experiences. We share the common aim of portraying the R.A.F.'s fine traditions conscientiously, but also with enjoyment at the same time.
There are many different trades and scenarios that portrayal of the R.A.F. lends itself to, which you will be supported in working towards with the right approach and knowledge to inform the public. You do not need any military experience, as we work together to form a closely knit, accurately trained and knowledgeable group of friends.
If you feel that you would like to join us then feel free to contact us through the website. All we ask is that you share the wish to help us to recreate the R.A.F.'s fine history, and work alongside other group members in a relaxed yet dedicated manner. The real R.A.F. was made up of a huge variety of individuals, which aim to reflect in our membership.
